Everything Herbal

For a long time, ever since I started getting interested in Wicca which was about 8 years ago, I have been studying up on herbs and their many magical and medicinal uses. Today I got inspired by my newly dried and put away mint to look up more ideas for herbal remedies. I often use websites which have compiled list of herbs and their functions. I have been looking up ways I can use herbs I have had sitting there for too long, my mugwort and motherwort, as well. It is amazing how much ordinary plants like mint, chamomile, or lemon can really help a person. I plan on making a compilation of herbal remedies of my own and spa treatments of all sorts which I will share with you bit by bit. I still have more research to do and testing before sharing any recipes with you. But I figured I would share some of the wonderful websites I have grown to love which have a wealth of information on the subject. First there is Annie’s Remedy: Essential Oils and Herbs and then there is Gardens Ablaze. There is also the Herb Garden page on The Pooka Pages and the Herb Pages Index on The Dance. I think all of these are great resources and linked from The Pooka Pages is Gruenwold Cottage which is filled with all sorts of other recipes as well. I hope, if you are curious, you check out these links and learn a little bit about how amazing plants can be. Mother Nature is truly powerful is so many ways.

Hi, my name is Elaina. I REALLY like your website. I want to be a witch, but my parents are strictly against it. I just need another Pagan to talk to. ?? Thanks,
    Elaina.

Hello. I know what it’s like to feel alone. My parents, fortunately for me, are accepting of my beliefs but it is difficult to get to know anyone with similar ideas. I know it must be difficult to have parents who are less open to the prospect. If you have any questions, I would love to make an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page as a resource for you and others. Post a comment in reply of any questions or ideas you would like me to react to and I will make the page. For now, I would say you should keep your spiritual ideas to yourself and use the internet as a resource for information. I do not believe religious beliefs, or any beliefs for that matter, can be taught to someone but can only be explored by the individual. I would also like to warn you about giving away too much information on the internet to anyone. Be safe and secure online. This is why I edited your comment.
