Mirror Neurons & TV

Recently I posted two contests which you can participate in so please do! Only one person has mentioned they might be interested. To get details about the contests please Click Here.

I have a had a minor epiphany of why we enjoy TV so much. I’m not one to get really get technical and scientific but I do enjoy learning about science and especially how the brain works. Interesting enough the brain has mirror neurons which are responsible for empathy and for being able to place yourself in someone else’s shoes. When we watch something on TV, I think these neurons are stimulated and we experience, in our head at least, what we are watching. This is probably why TV is so popular and can be so addicting for a lot of people.
